A Radical Framework for Thinking about AI in Tasks
My new approach to tasks is always "can AI do this?" and following it by trying to have AI do it. The advancements in where AI is at has lead to a gap between what people think is possible versus what it is capable of. Most people are familiar with the semi bumbling ChatGPT of 2023, but they're unaware of the power of a tool calling Sonnet with access to the internet for research.
So, when I talk to most people I start with, "what tools would I have to put in place to let an AI control this whole workflow?" Then I delete back from that point until AI reaches its point of utility.
